I had the pleasure of assisting a wonderful Canadian family of 12, including recent immigrants and students, with their vacation to Planet Hollywood Cancun. The trip was booked approximately seven months in advance, with the intention of departing as soon as schools closed in December or as soon as final exams were completed. At the time of booking, the exact exam schedules were still unknown.

Despite the uncertainty, I ensured all arrangements were made well in advance and deposits were secured. In mid-September, the package price dropped. Thanks to the strong supplier relationships and contracts I have in place, I was happy to successfully secure the lower rate for the family, providing them with additional value at no extra cost.

Closer to departure, one of the students learned that an exam had been scheduled on the same day as the flight. Because Sunwing operates multiple flights per week—one of the reasons I specifically booked with them—I was able to move her to the next day’s flight for just a change fee, without any complications.

The family appreciated the flexibility and attention to detail, and returned from their vacation happy and grateful. I was truly pleased to help make their holiday smooth, affordable, and memorable.
