A Multicultural Celebration Thoughtfully Designed with Love and Intention
This wedding was a heartfelt fusion of Indian, American, Hawaiian, and Chinese cultures — thoughtfully planned to honor the heritage and traditions of both families. With over 70 Indian guests, 40 American guests, and approximately 80 Hawaiian-Chinese guests. The goal was to create a celebration where every culture felt seen, respected, and celebrated.
The festivities began with a vibrant Indian Sangeet night, held in an open-air venue beside a serene pool — the perfect setting for music, dance, and joy rooted in Indian tradition. The colors, rhythms, and energy set the tone for the days to follow. A talented Mehndi artist added a beautiful touch of tradition and vibrant color to the evening.
The wedding ceremony took place on the rooftop of the Hyatt Regency Resort, offering panoramic views of the ocean — a breathtaking Hawaiian backdrop for a heartfelt exchange of vows that blended elegance with intimacy.
To honor Chinese culture during the reception, a spectacular traditional dragon dance was arranged — an electrifying moment that filled the evening with vibrant energy, good fortune, and deep cultural pride.
